Primary school
- VmbR (middle preparational education group in Rotterdam)
corresponds to primary school grades 3-6. These are after-school lessons. - VtbR (intermediate preparational education group in Rotterdam)
corresponds to primary school groups 7 and 8.
Secondary Education
- VbbB (upper secondary preparational education)
In this programme, pupils attend 6-10 after-school hours worth of classes at LMIPA. - VbbMH (preparational education for Mbo and Hbo)
This programme integrates the regular Vmbo/Havo/Vwo education and the preparational education at LMIPA. It aims at preparing pupils for continuing arts education on the secondary vocational (Mbo) and higher education (Hbo) levels. The VbbMH programme in Rotterdam is offered by LMIPA in collaboration with the Thorbecke Secondary Education.
Admission
An audition is required to be admitted to one of the preparational programmes. There is only one audition round. During this audition round, you would take classes in several disciplines, including Pop Theatre Musical Dance (PTMD™), Ballet and Singing. Additionally, you will take an athletic test. The auditions can also be concluded with a medical examination.
